Position Summary:
· The Senior Sales Officer will be responsible for:
· Driving revenue growth & expanding market presence
· Managing key accounts
· Building a structured sales system
Key Responsibilities:
· Revenue & Market Expansion
· Achieve/exceed monthly & quarterly targets
· Develop new markets: regions, cooperatives, distributors
· Build strong relationships with farmers & agro-dealers
· Agricultural Input Sales
· Promote & sell liquid organic fertilizer & related products
· Provide basic technical guidance & on-field demonstrations
· Customer Relationship Management
· Manage key clients & ensure repeat business
· Resolve customer issues professionally
· Maintain a structured customer database
Sales Reporting & Data Management
· Submit daily, weekly & monthly sales reports
· Track leads, conversions & customer activity
· Analyze lost sales & provide insights
Market Intelligence & Strategy
· Monitor competitors & market trends
· Identify customer needs & recommend improvements
· Support management with strategic insights
System & Process Discipline
· Follow structured sales processes & reporting systems
· Maintain accountability for targets & activities
· Support CRM implementation
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Agricultural Economics, or related field 3–5 years practical experience in agricultural input sales (fertilizer, seeds, agrochemicals)
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong agricultural knowledge & field demo experience
· Negotiation & closing skills
· Data-driven sales approach & independent territory management
· High ownership, accountability & self-discipline
· Strong communication & relationship-building
