As we continue our organizational transformation and business expansion, we are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and execution-focused professional to work directly with the CEO in driving strategic initiatives, strengthening organizational performance, developing people, coordinating major business projects, and ensuring disciplined execution across the company.

This is not a traditional Human Resources position. It is a strategic leadership role that combines Human Capital Management, Organizational Development, Business Performance Management, Project Management, and CEO Office support.

Job Purpose

The CEO Transformation, Organizational Performance & Human Capital Manager serves as the CEO's strategic execution partner responsible for translating business strategy into measurable organizational results.

The role integrates Business Performance Planning and Monitoring, Organizational Development, Human Capital Management, HR Business Partnership, HR Operations, People Analytics, Strategic Project Management, Business Transformation, and Executive Coordination to ensure the company's strategic priorities are successfully implemented.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

A. CEO Office & Strategy Execution

Support the CEO in executing corporate strategic priorities.

Coordinate company-wide strategic initiatives.

Track implementation of executive decisions.

Follow up on action plans across all departments.

Prepare executive reports, presentations, dashboards, and management updates.

Coordinate executive meetings and monitor implementation of agreed actions.

Ensure accountability and timely execution of strategic initiatives.

B. Organizational Performance Management

Develop and monitor annual operational and business performance plans.

Design and implement departmental KPIs.

Monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance.

Prepare executive performance dashboards.

Analyze performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Promote a culture of accountability and measurable results.

C. Organizational Development & Change Management

Review and improve organizational structures.

Conduct organizational effectiveness assessments.

Improve business processes and organizational systems.

Lead change management initiatives.

Develop policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Build a high-performance organizational culture.

Support continuous improvement initiatives.

D. Human Resource Management & Talent Development

Lead workforce planning and manpower forecasting.

Coordinate recruitment, selection, onboarding, and induction.

Develop competency frameworks.

Manage employee performance management systems.

Coordinate learning and development programs.

Support leadership development initiatives.

Manage succession planning and career development.

Improve employee engagement and retention.

Support reward and recognition initiatives.

Ensure HR policies comply with Ethiopian Labour Law and company policies.

E. HR Business Partnership

Partner with department heads to improve organizational performance.

Provide practical HR solutions aligned with business needs.

Resolve people-related issues proactively.

Support leaders in workforce planning and people development.

Improve leadership effectiveness across departments.

F. HR Operations & ERP Management

Ensure accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Improve HR operational efficiency through ERP systems.

Standardize HR processes.

Monitor HR compliance and reporting.

G. Business Transformation & Strategic Projects

Coordinate organizational transformation initiatives.

Lead cross-functional strategic projects.

Support ERP implementation and digital transformation.

Coordinate factory expansion and operational improvement projects.

Support certification, commercialization, and export readiness initiatives.

Monitor project milestones, risks, and deliverables.

H. Business Process Improvement

Analyze business processes.

Identify operational inefficiencies.

Develop process improvement initiatives.

Coordinate implementation of best practices.

Improve productivity across departments.

I. People Analytics & Business Intelligence

Develop HR and business performance dashboards.

Analyze workforce and organizational data.

Prepare management reports.

Support evidence-based decision-making.

Measure effectiveness of HR and organizational initiatives.

J. Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate and follow up company-wide initiatives including:

Strategic Plan implementation

ERP implementation

Business process improvement

Product launch projects

Organizational restructuring

Factory expansion

Commercial excellence initiatives

Export readiness projects

Digital transformation

CEO special assignments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in one of the following fields:

Human Resource Management

Business Administration

Management

Organizational Development

Industrial Engineering

Project Management

Economics

Public Administration

Organizational Psychology

Or another closely related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 7 years of progressive professional experience in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, Business Performance Management, Project Management, Business Transformation, Strategy Execution, or related fields.

At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Professional position (not necessarily a managerial position) with demonstrated responsibility for leading strategic initiatives, coordinating cross-functional projects, organizational development, HR business partnering, or business performance improvement.

Proven experience in organizational development, talent management, performance management, recruitment, and HR operations.

Experience coordinating multiple strategic projects.

Experience developing KPIs and performance management systems.

Experience working with ERP systems.

Experience supporting executive leadership is an added advantage.

Position: Poultry Production Manager

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Poultry Production Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for the poultry production business by effectively managing people, resources, assets, and production systems to achieve high productivity, quality standards, and sustainable profitability. The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

ü  Provide strong leadership and overall direction for poultry farm operations, ensuring effective utilization and management of human resources, farm assets, equipment, facilities, and production inputs.

ü  Lead the establishment, development, and expansion of poultry farm infrastructure, including poultry houses, equipment installation, water supply systems, feed storage facilities, egg handling and packaging areas, biosecurity structures, and other farm facilities.

ü  Develop and implement poultry production strategies, annual operational plans, work procedures, and performance management systems aligned with company objectives.

ü  Plan, organize, lead, and supervise poultry farm teams by establishing clear responsibilities, providing coaching and training, evaluating performance, and creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement.

ü  Manage and optimize the use of all farm resources, including poultry houses, machinery, equipment, feed, medicines, labor, utilities, and financial resources to maximize operational efficiency.

ü  Select and manage appropriate poultry breeds based on productivity, adaptability, disease resistance, feed efficiency, and market requirements.

ü  Direct and monitor daily poultry farm operations, including flock management, feeding programs, drinking water management, environmental control, lighting management, and general bird care.

ü  Develop and implement effective feed management systems to optimize nutrition, improve feed conversion efficiency, minimize feed wastage, and reduce production costs.

ü  Ensure continuous availability of clean and safe drinking water through proper water management, quality monitoring, sanitation, and system maintenance.

ü  Lead poultry health management programs, including vaccination plans, disease prevention, veterinary coordination, biosecurity implementation, and emergency disease response.

ü  Monitor and control poultry stress factors, including heat stress, environmental challenges, handling stress, and other factors affecting bird health and production performance.

ü  Manage egg production operations, including egg collection, grading, quality control, storage, packaging, and product handling to ensure consistent market supply and quality.

ü  Establish and maintain effective farm monitoring and reporting systems for production performance, feed consumption, mortality, egg quality, health status, inventory, and operational activities.

ü  Develop, implement, and monitor annual production plans, budgets, resource requirements, and investment plans.

ü  Ensure effective implementation of approved plans and budgets through regular monitoring, performance evaluation, and corrective action.

ü  Analyze production costs, operational efficiency, revenue performance, and profitability indicators and recommend strategies for business improvement.

ü  Develop and implement cost optimization initiatives while maintaining productivity, quality, and animal health standards.

ü  Lead procurement planning and management of poultry inputs, including feed, vaccines, medicines, equipment, spare parts, and other operational supplies.

ü  Ensure proper management, maintenance, and protection of company assets, including buildings, machinery, equipment, inventory, and production facilities.

ü  Develop and execute egg sales and marketing strategies by identifying market opportunities, managing customer relationships, supporting pricing decisions, and improving sales performance.

ü  Coordinate egg distribution and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction, and market competitiveness.

ü  Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to support business growth and decision-making.

ü  Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, veterinary service providers, government institutions, and other stakeholders.

ü  Ensure compliance with poultry production standards, animal health regulations, food safety requirements, environmental protection practices, and company policies.

ü  Establish and maintain strong biosecurity, occupational safety, hygiene, and waste management systems.

ü  Identify production, financial, operational, and market risks and develop practical mitigation strategies to protect business continuity.

ü  Prepare and present regular management reports covering production performance, financial status, challenges, opportunities, and improvement recommendations.

ü  Introduce modern poultry production technologies, innovations, and best practices to improve efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability.

ü  Promote a performance-driven culture through continuous improvement, problem-solving, innovation, and effective teamwork.

ü  Take full accountability for achieving poultry production targets, operational excellence, product quality, employee performance, and overall profitability of the poultry business.

Qualifications

ü  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, or related field.

ü  Experience: Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in commercial-level poultry production management.

ü  Strong skills in financial management, planning, and budgeting.

ü  Proven ability in profitability analysis and strategic decision-making.

ü  Demonstrated leadership qualities with team management experience.

ü  Competence in day-to-day operational follow-up and risk avoidance.

ü  Experience in linking production with marketing channels.

ü  Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

ü  Knowledge of poultry husbandry, veterinary practices, and facility development.

ü  Proficiency in computer skills and software usage (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, farm management software).

ü  Duty Station: Tulefa, 65 km from Addis Ababa (towards Debrebrehane).

ü  Employment Type: Full-time.
