Position: CEO Support Commercial Execution Manager

(CEO Executive Assistant – Marketing & Sales Focus)

Workplace: Addis Ababa (field trip if necessary)

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Purpose

Support the CEO by driving disciplined execution of marketing and sales strategies, managing complex commercial tasks and cross-functional projects, closing execution gaps, and ensuring accountability through technology-enabled task management, ERP-driven reporting, and KPI analysis.

This role exists to filter, analyze, and convert company plans and reports into CEO-ready insights; ensuring execution meets required standards in a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. CEO Executive & Strategic Support

Ø  Manage CEO calendar, priorities, meetings, and structured follow-ups.

Ø  Prepare executive reports, presentations, dashboards, and decision briefs.

Ø  Track CEO directives and ensure on-time execution across departments.

2. Marketing & Sales Planning (Core Responsibility)

Ø  Translate approved strategy into monthly and quarterly marketing & sales execution plans.

Ø  Support execution of: Route-to-market strategies, Dealer, distributor, and union activation programs, Promotion, pricing, and campaign calendars.

Ø  Ensure plans are data-driven, practical, and executable.

3. Advanced Task & Project Management

Ø  Manage multiple commercial initiatives using structured task and project management systems

Ø  Break strategies into clear tasks, owners, timelines, and outputs

Ø  Track risks, dependencies, and execution bottlenecks

Ø  Drive disciplined, system-based follow-up

4. Serious Implementation & Execution Follow-up

Ø  Track daily, weekly, and monthly execution of sales and marketing activities

Ø  Follow up rigorously with sales, marketing, operations, distributors, unions, and dealers

Ø  Identify gaps early, analyze root causes, and escalate practical solutions

5. Sales Performance, KPI & Business Analysis

Ø  Monitor key KPIs: volume, revenue, active dealers, order frequency, market coverage

Ø  Conduct plan vs actual, trend, and variance analysis

Ø  Prepare weekly CEO dashboards with corrective actions

6. Field & Market Intelligence

Ø  Conduct structured field visits

Ø  Collect dealer, farmer, and union insights

Ø  Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and distribution gaps

Ø  Report actionable market intelligence to the general manager 

7. ERP, CRM & Reporting Excellence

Ø  Ensure accurate and timely data capture in ERP / CRM systems

Ø  Enforce reporting discipline and data accuracy

Ø  Convert ERP data into executive-level insights

8. Advanced Technology & Digital Execution Management

Ø  Use modern task & project management systems to assign, track, escalate, and close actions

Ø  Maintain real-time execution dashboards for CEO visibility

Ø  Enforce a digital-first execution culture

9. General Manager Plan & Report Review (Critical Governance Role)

Ø  Collect weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans and performance reports from the General Manager

Ø  Analyze, filter, and evaluate reports against strategy, KPIs, and execution standards

Ø  Add independent analysis, comments, and recommendations

Ø  Submit CEO-ready summaries, not raw reports

Ø  Act as a quality-control and accountability layer between GM and CEO

Required Profile (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Ø  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or related field

Ø  Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in marketing & sales or commercial execution roles.

Ø  Mandatory: Hands-on experience in a structured label company (FMCG, agri-input, consumer or B2B branded product business).

Ø  Proven experience in route-to-market, dealer management, promotions, pricing, and KPIs

Ø  Advanced task & project management skills using digital systems

Ø  Strong business understanding and analytical skills

Ø  Proven ability in plan review, execution follow-up, and corrective action

Ø  Hands-on ERP usage experience (mandatory)

Ø  Fast-growth mindset and ability to perform under pressure

Ø  Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing & IT (ERP Implementation) Officer

The Officer will be responsible for the proper implementation, management, and sustainability of the company’s ERP system, while also planning, designing, and executing digital marketing content across all social media platforms. The role requires a strong combination of IT expertise, digital marketing knowledge, and graphic design skills.

Key Responsibilities 

1. ERP & IT Responsibilities 

 Lead and support ERP system implementation, customization, and maintenance 

 Train employees and ensure effective ERP system adoption across departments 

 Monitor data accuracy, system performance, and integration 

 Provide IT support for ERP, hardware, software, and network issues 

 Ensure data security, backups, and system sustainability 

2. Digital Marketing Responsibilities 

 Develop and execute digital marketing strategies aligned with company sales and branding goals

 Manage and grow company presence on Facebook, TikTok, Telegram, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the company website 

 Create high-quality promotional, educational, and brand-awareness content 

 Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance 3. Graphic Design & Content Creation 

 Design digital marketing materials such as posters, banners, flyers, product visuals, short videos, and advertisements 

 Ensure all designs follow company branding guidelines 

 Collaborate with sales and management teams to develop effective marketing messages

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in: 

Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Digital Marketing and Management Information Systems (MIS) Or related fields. 

Required Skills & Experience  Proven experience in ERP system implementation and support 

 Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media marketing

 Practical skills in graphic design tools such as: 

 Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator 

 Video editing skills are an advantage 

 Understanding of marketing strategy, branding, and customer engagement 

 Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications 

 Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing or agricultural companies 

 Basic knowledge of website management and SEO 

 Experience in content performance analysis and reporting Personal Attributes 

 Highly organized and results-oriented 

 Creative and innovative mindset 

 Strong sense of ownership and accountability 

 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
